The doctors watch the surgery; Richard and Mira…

During a powerful montage, the doctors watch surgery, Richard and Miranda discuss their relationships with Meredith Grey, and the board attempts to postpone the board review. Alex Karev arrives at the review with patients who owe their lives to Meredith Grey. They come together to speak on her behalf as ‘Keep You Safe’ soars.

“Last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy was extra EXTRA special for me – It was the show’s (and my) 350th episode,” shared Greys music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas. “What an incredible 17 year journey from the making of the pilot to [350th episode] ‘My Shot.’ And what a privilege to source Lindsey Ray’s ‘Keep You Safe,’ Sleeping At Last’s version of Tegan and Sara’s ‘Where Does The Good Go’, ‘All We Have Is Now’ by Ross Copperman, and Amy Stroup and AG’s ‘We’ll All Be Alright’.”

Released as Ray’s latest single in October of this year, ‘Keep You Safe’ was written at the 2019 Creative Labs Hawaii Immersive Songwriting Camp with Simone Benyacar, Dominique Yamamoto and Frederick Culp Jr. This track has also been featured on All American and Supergirl. Ray shared her excitement on Instagram about having her song appear in Grey’s Anatomy.

The singer/songwriter initially performed as Lindsey Bachelder and her vocal ability earned top honors early on during an L.A. singing competition when she was just 13 years old. Ray self-released her debut EP Picture Perfect in 2009 and a year later her full-length album, Goodbye From California. The title track of that album appeared on MTV’s The Real World: Hollywood.

Ray has written for many other artists including Mariah Carey and Demi Lovato. Notably, Ray co-wrote Mariah Carey’s song ‘Almost Home’ which was the end title track of Disney’s Oz: The Great and Powerful. She also collaborated with DJ Tiesto on his Club Life Volume 1: Las Vegas album on the song ‘Slumber.’ With a versatile range of genres and styles, Ray has taken part in a variety of side projects for EDM/pop group Mary Jane Fonda, indie alt-punk rock band Farmdale, and alt-pop rock artist Rayelle.

Ray has had success in sync with worldwide placements in TV, film and advertising. Her songs have been licensed for Target, Best Buy, XBOX, T-Mobile and tons of other brands. Her songs have been featured in promos or on television shows on lots of networks like ABC, NBC, FOX, HBO and many others.
