Top TV Song Last Week: Peace in the Pines by Kolton Moore & the Clever Few

The finale song in the season 4 finale of Yellowstone is the most popular song on Tunefind last week. This song comes from a Weatherford, Texas rock and roll band that has an uplifting sound with a tone of melancholy to close out this season.

‘Peace in the Pines’ was released on the 2020 album, Everything Has Changed. This is the latest album release for Kolton Moore & the Clever Few, following two albums released in 2013 called How Did I Get Here? and debut album Dear Mom,. Kolton Moore & the Clever Few released their debut EP Love Me Instead in 2012 and another EP Lone Wolf, a four song acoustic, in 2016. The group released a handful of singles in 2021. 

Kolton Moore & the Clever Few is made up of Kolton Moore on guitar and vocals, Ryan Wilcox on lead guitar, Aaron Dowd on drums and percussion, Ricky Harris on bass guitar, and Ace Crayton on piano, keyboards, and engineering. Former members include Steven Devilla on bass and Cosper Callan on lead guitar. The group took a five year hiatus before reuniting in 2019 to record Everything Has Changed.

‘Peace in the Pines’ is Kolton Moore & the Clever Few’s first placement on Tunefind. Their song ‘What Brings Life Also Kills’ from their EP Lone Wolf was covered by 2021 American Idol winner Chayce Beckham during the Top 12 Reveal episode.
